Keith Mason
U.S. Army veteran. Software company owner. Proud nerd. And, most importantly, Grandpa.
Keith Mason has nine children and seventeen grandchildren, and they're the reason the ChronoStone Saga exists. He started writing these books for his own grandkids: stories where history is a place you can visit, the facts are real, and a brother and sister stick together no matter what century they land in.
Some of Keith's fondest memories are of reading stories to his own children at bedtime, and today he loves reading to his grandchildren. "It's awesome bonding time with family," he says. That's why every ChronoStone chapter is a 5–7 minute read-aloud, and why the pictures are made to be pointed at and talked about.
Somewhere along the way, he realized other families might love them too. So he's sharing them with the world.
Keith brings a nerd's love of science and history, and a software builder's habit of using every good tool available. He works openly with AI tools for art, draft writing and research, and he directs, reviews and edits every book himself. (Read exactly how the books are made.)
And he has help at home: his wife, Lisa, who, as he writes in Book 1's dedication, is "just crazy enough to support me in all of my crazy shenanigans."
